SHOCK TOWER, SEAT PAN RAIL, FRAME RAIL REPLACEMENT

9/30/05

Was away on vacation, now have drivers shock tower in
Front inner frame rail welded in
Power steering mount cleaned and ready to attach to the frame
Front inner fender ready to weld
Rust treated, primed and painted transmission tunnel, and firewall.
Got the front drivers full inner frame rail welded in.
No pictures as there really is not much to see. Looks like the dry fit pictures but now the parts are welded. I have also decided to replace the Inner Rocker panels so when I am done with the drivers frame work, this weekend I hope, I am going to replace the inner rocker panel.

NEW PARTS NEW PARTS NEW PARTS!!!!!!
I got the seat pan and engine compartment panels and Passenger side frame rail. I test fitted the drivers side parts and they fit well. See the pictures below. Need to do some metal cutting on the car to get it ready for seat pan to go in.

GOT THE OLD FRAME RAIL OUT!!! I was on vacation for two weeks but now that I am back I finally got the bad frame out!!! Also removed shock tower. That was ALOT of work but its done. I still have some prep before welding but that won’t take to long. Next I am going to cut out the seat pan rail and full floor pan on the drivers side. Its really great to see the new parts in place!!! The parts from Northcoast Mustang Supply are of good quality and fit well, Frame rail just slid right into place. The Shock towers are really nice, as are the engine compartment sheet metal panels.
